Welcome to the Springtown Radio Control Club website. This is a club with great people that have great attitudes. A wonderful country setting. Our runway is 150 ft X 500 ft grass. We have a shade awning and a Porta Potty.
There is a 50 member limit, and we already have approx. 25 members. So join our club and secure your membership. As is in any new club, we realy need the suport to make SRCC a success. This is a AMA required field. Dues are 40.00 a year and are due by January 10th of every year. Come on out and fly and see if you like what you see. Above all, promote our wonderful hobby to others.
WE ARE HOSTING OUR FIRST FUN-FLY / SWAP MEET! WE ARE GOING TO BE DONATING ALL THE PROCEEDS FROM THE RAFFLES TO EMILY & SHAYDE SMITH OF BOYD. THE TWO 3rd GRADE STUDENTS AT BOYD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SUFFER FROM A GENETIC HEART DEFECT REQUIRING BOTH TO HAVE HEART TRANSPLANTS. IT IS A VERY RARE CONDITION CALLED RESTRICTIVE CARDIO MYOPATHY WICH AFFECTS LESS THAN 5% OF CHILDREN. IF YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN THE RAFFLES, DONATIONS CAN BE MADE. AMA REGIONAL REP., DOUG POWELL, WILL BE ATTENDING OUR EVENT ALSO. PLEASE COME OUT AND TAKE PLACE IN A 1ST CLASS EVENT AND CONTRIBUTE TO A GREAT CAUSE. IN CASE OF INCLIMATE WEATHER, WE WILL RESCHEDULE FOR JUNE 7, 2008 (FOLLOWING WEEKEND). LANDING FEE IS $10.00 AND LUNCH IS $5.00. THE EVENTS WILL CONSIST OF LIMBO AND SPOT LANDING. GATES OPEN AT 8:00 A.M. PILOTS MEETING WILL BE AT 10:00 A.M. EVENT ENDS AT 5:00P.M.

The Planes are off to our Troops in Iraq. I would like to thank Texas RC Planes and Buddy McReary for Donating planes and an engine. I put a note in the crate requesting pictures of the troops with the airplanes so that we can post them on the site.
